FMV Erenkoy Isik Science High School Fen1 students came together with Prof. Ali Hepşen, Lecturer in Istanbul University School of Business, the Department of Finance, in the first of the workshop series titled “”Financial Literacy” on January 12, 2022. In the workshop, our students learned about when, where, how and why money is used, Central Bank and its duties, how TÜFE-ÜFE values are determined based on TUİK data, statistics on global literacy, creating a balance between risk and income, cash displacement through physical and digital markets and circular economy. We thank Ali Hepsen for giving our students the opportunity to plan their future financially, in a world where the age of financial planning is down to 13.
