“Masks From The Forest”: The First Solo Exhibition Of Maya Egeden
The first solo exhibition of Maya Egeden, a 9th grade student at FMV Ayazağa Işık High School, titled “Masks from the Forest” will be presented to visitors between 30 April and 14 May at the A Block Foyer Area of our school. The exhibition features animal masks designed with inspiration from an imaginary forest created in the student’s mind. Prepared in a black-and-white technique, the masks transform the student’s observations of nature and living beings into a unique visual language. Through different characters and expressions, the works offer a multi-layered narrative to the viewer. The artworks reflect a creative process that brings together observation, imagination, and interpretation, while forming a striking visual unity within the foyer space. This exhibition stands out as a strong example of our school’s commitment to supporting students’ individual artistic production.
