The FMV (Feyziye Schools Foundation) Işık High Schools are institutions that believe in the continuity of learning through collaboration among students, teachers, and parents, in the light of Atatürk's educational approach and Atatürk's Principles and Reforms.
FMV Florya Işık High School, with the foundation's 138-year history of education, fulfills the requirements of the age while also taking future educational trends into consideration in preparing our youth for the future.
The educational philosophy of our schools, where the desire to learn is encouraged, and learning is carried out in enjoyable environments, is to raise decent individuals who always walk the path of reason and science, who are well-prepared for higher education institutions, particularly universities, therefore for life in line with academic processes.
FMV Florya Işık High School has the status of "Anatolian High School".
Science and mathematics courses are taught in English and our programme covers a five-year education program, including a preparatory class.
The classrooms are designed as classes with a maximum of 24 students, equipped with internet access and smart board technology.
There are modern equipped physics, chemistry, biology laboratories for science courses and project studies on our campus.
FMV Işık Schools Florya Campus has multi-media technological classrooms and flexible learning environments that support students' academic and social development. The technological equipment in all classrooms enables students to learn through diversely configured lessons.
In addition to providing an environment where students can freely express their emotions and thoughts, our FMV Işık School places great importance on fostering responsibility, tolerance, and self-discipline.
In line with this approach, all our schools utilize the Global Citizenship Program, the ALIS system (Student Tracking System from Preschool to High School) where students' academic progress is monitored and recorded from preschool to high school, and the Student Coaching System that every student benefits from during the university preparation process
Along with the use of technology, contemporary teaching methods such as Flipped Learning and UbD (Understanding by Design) are frequently employed in lessons. Learning becomes even more permanent through student-centered classes where students actively participate.
