FMV Ayazağa Işık High School 11 IB students Rüzgâr Kara, Emre Mengi, and Melih Akbulut achieved first place in the GENPROO Young Project Developers Olympiad with their project titled “Increasing the Accuracy Rate in the Histopathological Detection of Colon Cancer Through Artificial Intelligence Models” which focuses on the use of artificial intelligence in the field of health sciences. In the competition finals held on Friday, May 8, 2026, their project, which combined scientific research, data analysis, and artificial intelligence applications, was highly appreciated by the jury for its originality and applicability. We congratulate our students on this meaningful achievement and wish them continued success in their academic studies; we also thank the teachers who contributed to this success.
