A total of 39 students from FMV Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School participated in the 2nd International English Essay Competition organized by the Istanbul Rotary Club. Held under the theme “A Gateway to Peace: An Education-Based Roadmap Shaped by Youth” the competition enabled students to present their ideas on how a lasting culture of peace can be built through education. This competition, in which young participants expressed their thoughts on peace, education, and global awareness in English, made a significant contribution to showcasing our students’ academic competence and critical thinking skills on an international level. Among approximately 500 participants from 29 countries in this prestigious event, our 10th-grade student Zehra Babayeva successfully represented our school and achieved an international success by placing 10th. We congratulate our student and wish her continued success.
