FMV Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School launched the second phase of the “A Bridge Between Cultures: English” exchange program on May 4, 2026. Within the scope of the program, which is being organized for the third time this year, a group of 23 Spanish guests was welcomed enthusiastically in the school garden by our students, teachers, and parents. During the week-long program, which began with our Principal, Mr. Özgür Alper, hosting his Spanish colleagues and will continue until May 11, activities including tours of the Historical Peninsula and Kuzguncuk, a creative workshop at the Pera Museum combining Andalusian and Eastern aesthetics and orienteering activities on Heybeliada will take place. The program will conclude with a Bosphorus cruise accompanied by dinner, followed by a dance event and certificate ceremony. In this process, which aligns with the goals of our school’s Global Schools Program, our students gain important experiences on their journey toward becoming global citizens by directly engaging with different cultures. We wish all our students and teachers an unforgettable week and hope that this bridge of friendship will continue to grow stronger.
