An Inspiring Artistic Journey on World Painters’ Day
At FMV Ayazağa Işık Kindergarten, our 4-year-old students explored different professions as part of the “How the World Works” unit and sought to answer the question, “Do we have a painter at our school?” This curiosity-filled journey turned into a meaningful learning experience within the scope of February 27th World Painters’ Day.
Our students visited the art exhibition prepared by our primary school students and had the opportunity to become familiar with various techniques and artworks. Following the exhibition visit, they actively participated in the process by coloring drawings specially prepared for them in the primary school art department.
During the activity, our art teacher shared valuable insights about the profession of painting and the artistic production process, supporting our students’ awareness and appreciation of art.
A parent from our school community who practices the profession of painting also met with our students, presented examples of their own artworks, and shared their artistic journey, inspiring our young learners.
