FMV Işık High School proudly celebrated United Nations Day on October 24, with the active participation of our 9th grade students. During the event, students explored the founding purpose, core principles, and global contributions of the United Nations in promoting peace and cooperation. Under the theme “Together for Peace, Justice, and Human Dignity,” our geography teachers delivered insightful presentations highlighting the UN’s role in fostering international understanding. This informative and engaging activity allowed our students not only to learn and reflect on global issues but also to enjoy a meaningful educational experience that deepened their sense of global citizenship. At FMV Işık High School, we take great pride in nurturing our students’ awareness of peace, human rights, and sustainable development—values that lie at the heart of a better future.
