The Department of Social Sciences participated in the “VIII. ÜALEF'25 Conference” organized by Üsküdar American High School between 14th-17th February, 2025 with nine students from grades 9, 10 and 11 of the EYP (European Youth Parliament) Club. The forum started with team-building activities on the first day and continued on the second and third days with the work carried out by the committees on the conference theme “Changing World, Transforming Rights”, where delegates from various schools in different cities of Turkey addressed the problems of Turkey from different angles and put forward possible solutions to these problems. The students, who were informed about the committee topics by experts during the conference, drafted the solution proposals they prepared on the fourth day and presented them in the plenary sessions.
