World Children’s Day: Children’s Rights Exhibition
As the FMV Işık High School Global Citizenship & Sustainability Club, we have successfully completed the final stage of our Children's Rights Project, our exhibition, which we carried out as part of World Children's Day. 9th and 10th grade students participated in our event, enjoying an active learning experience. This year, we aimed to deepen students’ understanding of children's rights by presenting them through five main categories: Right to Nutrition, Right to Education, Right to Protection, Right to Play, and Right to Health. Designed as a five-station rotation, the exhibition allowed students to move in small groups from one station to another. At each station, they listened to short presentations about the specific right. Afterwards, they drew a question from the station’s question box and shared their reflections. By visiting all five stations, students completed the full cycle and strengthened their awareness of children’s rights. This event provided a meaningful educational environment where students not only gained knowledge but also reflected on the universal importance of children’s rights. We extend our gratitude to all participating students and to the club members who contributed to this project.
