FMV Işık High School 9th and 10th Grade Trip to Cappadocia
FMV Işık High School organized a lively and enriching trip to Cappadocia for its 9th and 10th grade students between November 19–22, 2025. Students enjoyed an unforgettable experience, exploring the region’s remarkable natural landscapes and deep historical heritage. The itinerary included visits to Zelve–Paşa Vineyards, Three Beauties, Devrent Valley, Pigeon Valley, and Narlı Crater Lake, where students observed some of Cappadocia’s most iconic geological formations. Stops at the Göreme Open Air Museum, Uçhisar Castle, and Kaymaklı Underground City offered students a closer look at the region’s cultural and historical treasures. A walk along the Kızılırmak River, paired with hands-on pottery activities, allowed students to both learn and have fun while experiencing Cappadocian culture firsthand.
Students returned from the trip with great enthusiasm, having spent time in nature, strengthened friendships, and gained valuable new knowledge.
