11 IB's Visit to Boğaziçi University Kandilli Campus Laboratories
Our 11 IB class students had the opportunity to closely explore several laboratories during their visit to Boğaziçi University’s Kandilli Campus.
During the tour, students learned about research conducted under clean-room conditions and examined various microscopes used in the laboratory. They also observed the working principles and applications of the electron microscope. In addition, the visit introduced students to the fundamentals of computerized tomography, the production processes of biological materials, and the development of stents from design to clinical use.
This trip provided a valuable firsthand experience with real scientific applications, enriching our students’ research culture and broadening their academic perspectives.
