As part of the IB Diploma Program CAS activities, 11 IB and 12 IB students taught volunteer club students how to knit scarves as part of interdisciplinary club activities. As a social responsibility project, our students sent these scarves to the children and families of earthquake victims living in Türkoğlu district of Kahramanmaraş. In the “Invisible Ties” activity, which we started based on the idea that “There are invisible ties that connect all people to each other”, our students had the opportunity to both connect with students in Kahramanmaraş and develop their own life skills by learning from each other.
