CERN Science Visit (15 – 19 April 2025)
We visited the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN) with a total of 9 students from FMV Ispartakule Işık High School and Science High School. During our scientific trip to the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland between 15-19 April, our students had the opportunity to learn about the studies carried out at CERN from researchers who are experts in their fields. They received information about the first collider at CERN, the Synchrocyclotron (SC), and the historical development of CERN and what it brings to our lives. Our students visited the CMS area of the center, accompanied by detailed presentations by esteemed professors, and had the opportunity to ask their questions and see the scientists actively working on site. During our 5-day trip, our students also visited the Technorama Science Museum, Bern History Museum, Einstein Haus, Bern Clock Tower, Nestle Callier Chocolate Factory, Chillon Castle, Annecy Town (France) and the city centers of Bern, Montreux, Geneva and Zurich.
