FMV Işık High School students' paintings were included at the "Young People in Yaşar Kemal's Garden with a Thousand and One Flowers" exhibition, presented by the Yaşar Kemal Foundation and attended by Istanbul's leading schools. In events hosted by the Yaşar Kemal Foundation in several regions to allow students to learn by producing, artworks created by students utilizing literature, visual arts, and technology were displayed. Our students got the opportunity to meet Yaşar Kemal's wife, Ayşe Semiha Baban Gökçeli, who gave an opening speech, and students discussed the works they had read.
